When you use super fresh apples straight off the tree to make Spiced Applesauce, you don’t need to add sugar. Using a combination of flavors like I do in my Spiced Applesauce recipe, makes the flavor more complex and interesting. You can pair sweeter apple varieties with more tart varieties for a truly unique apple flavor. Try it and see for yourself!
